At the Rubie Foundation, our mission is to bridge the educational gap for underprivileged students in Louisiana, fostering a love of learning, and unlocking their full potential. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our team is dedicated to providing innovative, supportive, and inclusive educational services that inspire students to achieve their dreams, become confident leaders, and make a positive impact in their communities.
We have a track and field team, ran by a former Division-I track and field athlete, that aims to further enhance the confidence of the students.
We hold an ACT Prep course, free of charge, for all students in the area every Wednesday at the local public library.
To avoid the students becoming a part of the national trend of falling reading comprehension scores we have a book club that is open to both college and high school students. Our goal is to read more than twenty books per year.
